We believe that we can make a difference in the contemporary world through bringing project management knowledge to developing countries. We feel sure that the projects initiated in conditions of social and cultural complexity have unlimited opportunities for growth. We want to see those projects achieving high levels of success and creating value for their societies.
Guided by these ideas, we are helping the projects in developing countries to be accepted and supported by their governments as well as local communities. We deliver our help through coaching, since we believe in the benefits of knowledge sharing. In our view, knowledge exchange, networking and feedback facilitate cross-cultural understanding, bring new perspectives to the project teams and increase the competences and skills of the participants.
In our activities we focus on spreading project management knowledge. The project management (PM) profession has been evolving rapidly in recent years in many Asia Pacific countries, however, there is almost no training provided to local people to develop necessary skills and adapt effective project management tools. This results in failures to receive funding for development of potentially good projects as donors lack confidence in successful implementation of the projects. There could be many factors of bad performance, but the most significant issue is lack of efficient project management training and exchange of knowledge between Western world and developing countries. To continue to improve their people’s living standards, NGO staff in developing countries needs to engage in knowledge sharing projects with their peers around the world.
With growing competition and the explosion of new knowledge, skills and tools in project management, increasing recognition of PM as a profession of choice for the future, PM coaching should be provided for those who need it the most. We stand for better network with the Western world and efficient implemented PM training and we believe this will strengthen individual programs and improve the overall situation.
